    Abstract
    In rich amendments to the article, the author describes the social-ideological context of the period of church construction and its character. The author devoted to a cult Gothic style of Southern France (Languedoc). It was the religious Languedoc's Gothic that later exerted a material effect on the formation of the original Catalan Gothic of the Kingdom of Aragon and the peculiar Gothic of the Kingdom of Palma-Mallorca.
